How to Make Chinese ABC Soup
- Blanch the meat. Start by placing the pork bones in a pot filled with cold water. Boil them briefly to remove impurities, then discard the dirty water for a clearer broth.
- Combine ingredients. In a fresh pot, add the blanched meat along with 6 cups of clean water. Bring everything to a rolling boil.
- Simmer soup. Once it reaches a boil, gently add in the potatoes, tomatoes, carrot, and corn. Lower the heat and let it simmer for about 45-60 minutes.
- Season. Before serving, take a taste. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
