  • 1 cup Sour Cream Can be substituted with Greek yogurt.
  • 3 cups All-Purpose Flour Consider cake flour for lighter texture.
Frosting
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Use at room temperature.
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar Adjust for consistency.
  • 1 cup Cool Whip Can replace with heavy cream.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 11x17-inch baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, and salt together until light and fluffy (about 8-10 minutes).
  3. Combine the warm honey, baking soda, and vinegar, and mix it into the egg mixture along with the sour cream.
  4. Gradually sift the flour into the batter, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  5. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared sheet and bake for 30-32 minutes, checking for doneness.
  6. Carefully flip the warm babka onto a cooling rack and let it cool completely before cutting.
  7. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth, then add the Cool Whip.
  8. Trim the edges of the cooled babka, slice into squares, and pipe the frosting on top.
