  • 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar adjust based on banana ripeness
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon for batter
  • 2 large Eggs room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Butter melted, or use oil
For the Cinnamon Swirl
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar for swirl
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon for swirl

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan by greasing it.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth, and mix with melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  4. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture, stirring gently until just mixed.
  5. Mix sugar and cinnamon for the swirl, layer half of the batter, sprinkle with the mixture, layer remaining batter, and swirl with a knife.
  6. Bake for about 60-70 minutes, checking with a toothpick for doneness; cool before slicing.
