Ingredients
  

For the Meatloaf
  • 1 pound Ground Beef 80/20 for juiciness
  • 1 cup Quick Oats or old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup Milk whole recommended
  • 2 large Eggs binder
  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped or grated
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup for meatloaf mixture
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
For the Glaze
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard yellow or Dijon

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Combine ground beef, quick oats, milk, eggs, onion, ½ cup ketchup, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and transfer it to the prepared pan.
  4. Prepare the glaze by whisking together the remaining ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread half over the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes. Spread the remaining glaze over the top and bake for another 15-20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
