Ingredients
  

For the Steak
  • 1 pound Ribeye steak thin, 2-inch long slices
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil divided
For the Vegetables
  • 1 large Red bell pepper chopped into bite-size pieces
  • 1 large Green bell pepper chopped into bite-size pieces
  • 1 medium White onion chopped into bite-size pieces
For the Sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ginger minced
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 0.33 cup Soy sauce
  • 1.25 cups Beef broth or chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons Rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch

Method
 

How to Make
  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the ribeye steak and cook for about 5-6 minutes until lightly browned. Remove it from the skillet and keep warm.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Sauté the chopped red and green bell peppers with the onion for 3-4 minutes until tender.
  4. Return the sautéed steak to the skillet, mixing it all together.
  5. In a medium bowl, combine minced garlic, black pepper, ginger, brown sugar, soy sauce, beef broth, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Stir until well blended.
  6. Pour the sauce mixture into the skillet with the steak and vegetables. Bring it to a simmer, cooking for an additional 4-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Serve hot over a bed of rice and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
