Pancake Making Steps
- In a large bowl, combine 2 1/2 tbsp melted salted butter, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 cup milk, and 1 cup all-purpose flour. Then, add red food coloring, 1 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tbsp white vinegar, and a pinch of vanilla powder along with 1 large egg. Stir until smooth and well blended.
- Preheat your skillet over medium heat. Once hot, pour your desired amount of pancake batter to form heart shapes. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- For the cream cheese glaze, in another bowl, mix together 3 tbsp light cream, 3 oz cream cheese, 1/4 cup unsalted butter, 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar, and a pinch of vanilla powder. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Once your pancakes are cooked and perfectly fluffy, drizzle the luscious cream cheese glaze over them before serving.
