Method
 

How to Make Matzo Crack
  1. Preheat your oven by setting it to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place the matzos in a single layer.
  3. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until bubbly. Stir in the brown sugar until dissolved.
  4. Pour the butter and sugar mixture evenly over the matzos.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes until bubbly and slightly golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle the chocolate over the top. Let it sit to melt.
  7. Spread the melted chocolate evenly with a spatula.
  8. Sprinkle the optional chopped nuts on top of the chocolate.
  9. Cool completely before breaking into pieces.
