How to Make Matzo Crack
- Preheat your oven by setting it to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place the matzos in a single layer.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until bubbly. Stir in the brown sugar until dissolved.
- Pour the butter and sugar mixture evenly over the matzos.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes until bubbly and slightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle the chocolate over the top. Let it sit to melt.
- Spread the melted chocolate evenly with a spatula.
- Sprinkle the optional chopped nuts on top of the chocolate.
- Cool completely before breaking into pieces.
