Making the Cookies
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Add in the egg yolks and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the mini chocolate chips gently.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes.
- Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
