Steps
  1. Grease the slow cooker insert with nonstick spray or butter to prevent sticking.
  2. Cube the stale brioche bread into 1-inch pieces and layer them in the slow cooker.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, milk, syrup, vanilla extract, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the cubed bread, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
  5. Optional: Allow the mixture to soak for a couple of hours or overnight in the fridge.
  6. Mix butter, brown sugar, and additional cinnamon together, then sprinkle over the bread mixture.
  7. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2-2.5 hours or LOW for 3-4 hours.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with toppings like maple syrup or fresh berries.
