For the Spicy Honey Drizzle
  • 1/2 cup Honey Choose a good quality variety
  • 1 tablespoon Hot Sauce Pick a sauce that aligns with your spice preference
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chili Flakes Add more to taste
Optional Garnishes
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Walnuts Substitute with your favorite nuts
  • 1 tablespoon Minced Rosemary Thyme or oregano can be used instead

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Allow the fresh ricotta cheese to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  2. In a food processor, combine the room-temperature ricotta, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Process for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together honey, hot sauce, and chili flakes. Gently warm to keep the honey runny.
  4. Spread the ricotta base in a serving bowl and drizzle with the spicy honey mixture. Garnish with chopped walnuts and minced rosemary if desired.
  5. Serve at room temperature with crackers, baguette slices, or vegetables.
