- Melt the chocolate: Begin by placing your chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or in the microwave. Heat it gently, stirring until it’s smooth and fully melted. This step should take about 1-2 minutes in the microwave.
- Dip the strawberries: Carefully take each washed and dried strawberry and dip it into the melted chocolate. Rotate it to ensure it’s fully coated in that luscious chocolate goodness.
- Set on baking sheet: Gently place the chocolate-coated strawberries onto a lined baking sheet. Make sure they are spaced apart so they do not stick together as they cool.
- Add optional toppings: Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle your desired optional toppings like crushed nuts, sprinkles, or coconut flakes on top.
- Cool to harden: Allow the dipped strawberries to sit at room temperature or in the fridge until the chocolate is completely cool and hardened. This usually takes about 30 minutes.
