  • 1 piece Parchment Paper or Silicone Mat Provides a non-stick surface.
  • 1 tsp Cooking Spray Optional for easy release.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse medium-sized apples under cold water, dry them completely, remove stems, and insert wooden skewers or popsicle sticks into the tops.
Melting
  1. Combine unwrapped Jolly Ranchers and 1 cup of water in a medium-sized pot. Heat over medium-low, stirring gently until melted and smooth. Use a candy thermometer to ensure it reaches 300°F.
Coating
  1. Allow the candy mixture to cool slightly for 1-2 minutes. Dip each apple into the candy mixture, ensuring even coverage and let excess drip off.
Setting
  1. Place the coated apples on a parchment-lined tray. Allow them to sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes until the coating hardens.
Serving
  1. Display the candy apples on a colorful platter or wrap them individually for serving.
