How to Make Kielbasa and Cheesy Potato Casserole
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) for even cooking.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, add sliced kielbasa and brown for 5-7 minutes.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté diced onions and minced garlic for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  4. In a bowl, combine sour cream, heavy cream, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, half of the kielbasa, the onion-garlic mixture, and cheddar cheese.
  6. Repeat with the remaining potatoes, kielbasa, onion-garlic blend, and pour the cream mixture over all, topping with remaining cheddar.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes to meld flavors.
  8. Uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  9. Let the casserole cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
