How to Make Kielbasa and Cheesy Potato Casserole
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) for even cooking.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, add sliced kielbasa and brown for 5-7 minutes.
- In the same skillet, sauté diced onions and minced garlic for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
- In a bowl, combine sour cream, heavy cream, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- In a greased baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, half of the kielbasa, the onion-garlic mixture, and cheddar cheese.
- Repeat with the remaining potatoes, kielbasa, onion-garlic blend, and pour the cream mixture over all, topping with remaining cheddar.
- Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes to meld flavors.
- Uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let the casserole cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
- Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
