Ingredients
  

For the Meatloaf
  • 1 lb Ground Beef Choose 80/20 for optimal juiciness.
  • 1 pkg Lipton Onion Soup Mix Sub for any onion soup mix if unavailable.
  • 1 large Egg Always use fresh eggs for best results.
  • 1 cup Plain Breadcrumbs Can substitute with crushed crackers if desired.
  • 1/2 cup Whole Milk Can use almond milk for a dairy-free option.
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup Substitute with barbecue sauce for added flavor.
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce Use soy sauce as an alternative if needed.
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Fresh minced garlic can also be used.
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper Adjust according to taste preferences.
For the Sweet Ketchup Glaze
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup Mix with brown sugar for a delightful contrast.
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar Adds rich sweetness to balance the tanginess of the ketchup.
  • 1 tbsp Mustard Provides a slight tang to brighten the glaze.

Method
 

Directions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly spray a 9x5 loaf pan with cooking spray or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, Lipton onion soup mix, egg, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and pepper.
  4. Transfer the mixture to your prepared loaf pan or shape it into a loaf on the baking sheet.
  5. In a small bowl, stir together the ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard until smooth. Spread this glaze over the meatloaf.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 1 hour, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Allow the meatloaf to rest for 5–8 minutes after removing it from the oven.
