Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking dish lightly.
- Peel and cube the sweet potatoes into 1-inch pieces.
- Combine the cubed sweet potatoes in a large bowl with melted butter, maple syrup, cinnamon, and half of the chopped walnuts. Toss gently.
- Spread the sweet potato mixture in the prepared baking dish. Roast for 25-30 minutes, or until fork-tender.
- Sprinkle the remaining walnuts on top five minutes before they're done roasting.
- Serve warm, drizzled with a touch more maple syrup if desired.
