Ingredients
  

For the Meatloaf
  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef or ground turkey for a lighter option
  • 1/2 cup Chili Sauce substitute with ketchup for a sweeter option
  • 4 slices Thick Bacon or turkey bacon for a lighter version
  • 1 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese any melting cheese blend also works
  • 1/2 cup Panko Breadcrumbs regular breadcrumbs can be used but may yield a denser texture
  • 2 large Eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Seasoned Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Granulated Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Yellow Mustard adds a slight tang
For the Glaze
  • 1/2 cup Prepared BBQ Sauce for glazing

Method
 

Preparing the Meatloaf
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Cook and crumble the bacon until crispy; set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chili sauce, bacon, cheddar cheese, panko, eggs, onion powder, seasoned salt, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard; mix gently.
  4. Divide the mixture into 8 portions and form them into round loaves with a small depression in each.
  5. Brush BBQ sauce over the tops of the loaves.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes.
  7. Switch to broil and brown the tops for an additional 2-5 minutes.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
