Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the refrigerated pie crust on a floured surface.
  3. Press the dough circles into greased muffin tins.
  4. Spoon 1 to 1½ teaspoons of pizza sauce into each dough-lined cup.
  5. Layer with shredded mozzarella and mini pepperoni; sprinkle with oregano and garlic powder.
  6. Cut out smaller dough circles for the tops and seal the edges.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle Parmesan cheese if desired.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
