Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the refrigerated pie crust on a floured surface.
- Press the dough circles into greased muffin tins.
- Spoon 1 to 1½ teaspoons of pizza sauce into each dough-lined cup.
- Layer with shredded mozzarella and mini pepperoni; sprinkle with oregano and garlic powder.
- Cut out smaller dough circles for the tops and seal the edges.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle Parmesan cheese if desired.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let them cool for 5 minutes before serving.
