Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and generously grease a loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- Combine the mashed bananas with melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped walnuts.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 40-50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the loaf cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
