How to Make
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an angel food or Bundt pan.
- Slice apples and toss with sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Combine flour, sugar, salad oil, eggs, orange juice, baking powder, vanilla, and salt in a mixing bowl. Beat until smooth.
- Pour half of the batter into the pan, add half the apple mixture, layer with remaining batter, and top with remaining apples.
- Bake for about 1.5 hours or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool the cake in the pan for 10-15 minutes before inverting onto a plate to cool completely.
