How to Make Mongolian Ground Beef Cabbage
- Start by warming a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart as it browns nicely.
- Once the beef is browned, drain any excess fat. Add the finely diced onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes until it becomes translucent and sweet.
- Stir in the minced garlic and ground ginger. Cook for 1 minute.
- Toss in the shredded cabbage and stir. Cook until tender but still crunchy, around 4-5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Pour this over the beef and cabbage.
- Garnish your dish with fresh green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
