How to Make Mongolian Ground Beef Cabbage
  1. Start by warming a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart as it browns nicely.
  3. Once the beef is browned, drain any excess fat. Add the finely diced onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes until it becomes translucent and sweet.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic and ground ginger. Cook for 1 minute.
  5. Toss in the shredded cabbage and stir. Cook until tender but still crunchy, around 4-5 minutes.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Pour this over the beef and cabbage.
  7. Garnish your dish with fresh green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
