How to Make Breakfast Hashbrown Casserole
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a 9 x 13-inch baking dish by spraying it with non-stick spray.
- Cook the pork sausage in a medium skillet over medium heat, breaking it into smaller pieces until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess grease.
- Whisk together eggs, milk (or cream), salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a large bowl until thoroughly combined.
- Layer the thawed hashbrowns evenly in the prepared baking dish, then top with the cooked sausage and a sprinkle of shredded cheese.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layered ingredients.
- Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes until the eggs are fully set and the top is lightly browned.
