- Lay the boneless skinless chicken breasts at the bottom of your crockpot, organizing them in a single layer to ensure even cooking.
- Scatter the chopped garlic and diced onion over the chicken.
- In a separate bowl, combine your barbecue sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Gently cover the chicken with the sauce mixture.
- Cover the crockpot and set it to low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the pot using two forks, mixing it into the sauce.
