For the Chicken
  • 2 pieces Boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 cup Egg substitute
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
For the Sauce
  • ½ cup Dry white wine or chicken broth
  • ¼ cup Lemon juice fresh is essential
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves minced
  • 1 dash Hot pepper sauce
  • 1 tsp Salt
For the Toppings
  • ½ cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup Minced fresh parsley

  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Butter

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the chicken by dipping each breast in the egg substitute, then dredge them in flour.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Sauté the chicken breasts until golden brown, approximately 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Transfer the browned chicken to a baking dish.
  6. Combine remaining olive oil, white wine or chicken broth, lemon juice, minced garlic, hot pepper sauce, and salt in the skillet; bring to a simmer.
  7. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the baking dish.
  8. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
