Directions
  1. Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker, ensuring it's snugly fitted to absorb all the delicious flavors.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix and au jus gravy mix generously over the roast.
  3. Add the beef broth and unsalted butter to the slow cooker.
  4. Place the whole pepperoncini peppers on top, along with a splash of the brine.
  5. Season with freshly ground black pepper if desired.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours until the beef is tender and falling apart.
