Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Season the shrimp with sweet paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the shrimp in a single layer for 1 minute on each side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and sauté chopped garlic and shallots for about 2 minutes.
  5. Add chili flakes and pour in the vodka. Simmer for 3 minutes to cook off alcohol.
  6. Pour in the fish broth and bring to a boil. Stir in remaining butter until melted.
  7. Return shrimp to skillet, heat for 1 minute. Finish with lemon juice, black pepper, and parsley.
  8. Serve with crusty bread or over pasta.
