For the Noodles
  • 16 oz Spaghetti or whole wheat/gluten-free
For the Veggies
  • ½ head Green Cabbage shredded
  • 2 pieces Carrots shredded
For the Sauce
  • 1 tsp Olive Oil for sautéing
  • cup Soy Sauce use low-sodium for a healthier option
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar or honey/maple syrup
  • ½ tsp Ground Mustard or Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Ground Ginger or fresh ginger
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder or fresh minced garlic
  • cups Water for cooking the noodles
For Garnish
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds optional

Cooking Steps
  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add cubed chicken and sauté for 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
  2. Toss in shredded cabbage and carrots, cooking for an additional 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, ground mustard, ground ginger, and garlic powder. Heat through for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add spaghetti and water to the pan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and let sit for a few minutes before serving.
