Making Oreo Cheesecake Brownies
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal and clean-up.
- Melt the unsalted butter and granulated sugar together in a medium bowl until smooth. Stir in cocoa powder, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Fold in the flour gently until just combined, then pour into the prepared pan and bake for about 20 minutes, until the center is slightly gooey.
- In another bowl, blend softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in the crushed Oreo cookies, creating a delightful mixture full of texture.
- Once the brownie base is done baking, spread the cheesecake mixture evenly on top. Crumble additional Oreos over this layer for a beautiful finish.
- Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until set. Allow to cool completely at room temperature before slicing into squares for the best presentation and texture.
