How to Make Peanut Butter Spider Cookies
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the dry ingredients by whisking together flour, baking soda, and baking powder in a medium-sized bowl. Set aside.
  3. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and creamy peanut butter in a large bowl using an electric mixer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully integrated.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Scoop dough into 2-tablespoon balls and roll them in granulated sugar before placing on the prepared baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Press a Whopper onto the center of each cookie immediately after removing from the oven.
  9. Cool the cookies in the fridge for a few minutes until they are set.
