Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease your baking dish with olive oil.

  3. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels, rub with olive oil, and season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Place the salmon in the greased baking dish, skin-side down, and spoon two-thirds of the glaze over the fillets.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Optionally, broil for 1-2 minutes for a crispy glaze, watching closely to avoid burning.
  7. Let salmon rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  8. Garnish with parsley and drizzle remaining pan juices before serving.
