How to Make Roadhouse Butter Chicken Skillet
- In a small bowl, combine unsalted butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth and creamy, and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the boneless chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, until they are golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 165°F. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, pour in the chicken broth to deglaze. Scrape the brown bits off the bottom with a wooden spoon.
- Stir the previously mixed sauce into the skillet and continue to cook until everything is well blended and smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, ensuring it's fully coated in the buttery sauce. Allow it to simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
- Sprinkle chopped parsley over the dish for a pop of freshness, then serve hot and enjoy.
