How to Make Salmon Spinach Pasta
  1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) while you prepare the salmon.
  2. Prepare Salmon: Pat the salmon fillet dry and season with olive oil, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
  3. Cook Pasta: Boil pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  4. Sauté Aromatics: Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet, sauté shallot until softened, then add minced garlic.
  5. Deglaze (if using): Pour in white wine into the skillet and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Add Spinach: Toss in fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 3-5 minutes.
  7. Make Sauce: Stir in heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese, simmer until melted.
  8. Finish Sauce: Squeeze in lemon juice, adjust sauce thickness with reserved pasta water.
  9. Combine: Toss in cooked pasta and fold in flaked salmon.
