How to Make Ginger Onion Fried Sea Bass
  1. Marinate the Sea Bass: Season the fish fillets with salt and pepper. Allow them to rest for about 15 minutes to absorb the flavors and ensure a delicious finish.
  2. Heat the Oil: In a large skillet, heat cooking oil over medium-high heat until it's hot and shimmering.
  3. Fry the Fish: Add the marinated sea bass to the skillet, frying for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove the fish and set it aside.
  4. Sauté Aromatics: In the same skillet, add the minced ginger and garlic, sautéing for around 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add Green Onions: Toss in the chopped green onions and cook for another 30 seconds until tender.
  6. Combine: Return the golden-brown sea bass to the skillet. Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar, gently tossing to coat.
  7. Final Seasoning: Taste your creation and adjust the seasoning with additional salt and pepper if desired.
  8. Serve: Dish out the Ginger Onion Fried Sea Bass hot, ideally alongside steamed jasmine rice or vegetables.
