Cooking Instructions
  1. Sprinkle salt and black pepper on both sides of the boneless pork chops. Let them sit for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  2. Place a skillet over medium-high heat and pour in olive oil. Once the oil is shimmering, add the pork chops.
  3. Carefully add the seasoned chops to the hot skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until beautifully browned.
  4. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and cover loosely with foil to rest.
  5. In the same skillet, add sliced onions and apples. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until onions are translucent.
  6. Stir in apple butter, whole grain mustard, and a splash of water into the skillet and mix until combined.
  7. Return the pork chops to the skillet and allow them to simmer in the glaze for an additional 5 minutes.
