- Sprinkle salt and black pepper on both sides of the boneless pork chops. Let them sit for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Place a skillet over medium-high heat and pour in olive oil. Once the oil is shimmering, add the pork chops.
- Carefully add the seasoned chops to the hot skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until beautifully browned.
- Remove the pork chops from the skillet and cover loosely with foil to rest.
- In the same skillet, add sliced onions and apples. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until onions are translucent.
- Stir in apple butter, whole grain mustard, and a splash of water into the skillet and mix until combined.
- Return the pork chops to the skillet and allow them to simmer in the glaze for an additional 5 minutes.
