Preparation Steps
  1. Cook the Bacon: Heat a skillet over medium heat, then cook the bacon until crispy—about 6-8 minutes. Drain on paper towels and chop into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Prepare the Tortellini: Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the frozen cheese tortellini and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 3-5 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  3. Make the Dressing: In a large mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, oregano, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Stir well.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked tortellini, chopped bacon, sliced pepperoncini, Parmesan cheese, diced red onion, and halved tomatoes to the dressing. Toss to coat.
  5. Chill and Serve: Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Stir gently before serving.
