For the Meatloaf

  • 1 medium Onion Finely diced.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 2 large Eggs Acts as a binder.
  • 1/2 cup Milk Keeps the meatloaf moist.
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
For the Glaze
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup Provides tangy sweetness.
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
For Seasoning
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley Chopped.
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet or grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, finely diced onion, minced garlic, eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, fresh parsley, fresh thyme, salt, and black pepper. Gently mix until just combined.
  3. Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it on the baking sheet or into the greased loaf pan.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together ketchup, Dijon mustard, and brown sugar until smooth.
  5. Spoon half of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
  6. Bake the meatloaf for about 45 minutes.
  7. After 45 minutes, apply the remaining glaze on top and return to the oven for an additional 25-30 minutes.
  8. Once done, remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
