  • 1 pinch Sea Salt Use coarse salt for better texture.
  • 1 pinch Black Pepper Freshly ground is best.
For the Avocado Topping
  • 1 whole Avocado Use a ripe Hass avocado for best taste.
  • Fresh Herbs E.g., parsley, basil, cilantro, or chives.
For the Protein
  • 1 large Egg Poach for a velvety texture.
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese Optional; nutritional yeast is a vegan substitute.

Cooking Instructions
  1. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil in a small pot. Stir in the rolled oats and sea salt. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat after 5 minutes and keep covered for another 3 minutes to allow absorption.
  3. Meanwhile, poach the egg in gently simmering water for about 3 minutes until the yolk remains runny.
  4. Spoon the oatmeal into a serving bowl, top with the poached egg, avocado slices, Parmesan, and fresh herbs. Sprinkle with black pepper.
  5. Serve immediately for the best experience.
