Directions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for 5-7 minutes, breaking it up to ensure even cooking until it’s nicely browned.
- Push the beef to one side of the skillet and add the onions to the other side. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until translucent, then add minced garlic and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the diced tomatoes, bouillon powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, and salt. Bring the mixture to a boil for 5 minutes to meld the flavors together beautifully.
- Stir in the chopped cabbage, cover the skillet, and cook until it’s tender, about 10-15 minutes. Make sure to stir occasionally and adjust seasoning to taste for the best flavor.
- Dish out your hearty Cabbage and Ground Beef skillet as is or enjoy it with rice or crusty bread garnished with fresh herbs.

Notes
Optional: Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and freshness. Avoid overcooking the beef; a slight pink in the center retains moisture and flavor.
