Method

How to Make Hawaiian Crockpot Chicken
  1. Begin by chopping the chicken into bite-sized pieces and cutting the pineapple (if using fresh). Measure out the soy sauce and brown sugar to have everything ready for a smooth cooking process.
  2. Layer the chicken at the bottom of the crockpot. Next, add the pineapple chunks, soy sauce, brown sugar, and garlic. Give it a gentle stir to ensure all ingredients are well combined and coated.
  3. Cover the crockpot and set it to low for 6-7 hours. The chicken should become tender and easily shred with a fork.
  4. After cooking, fluff the chicken with a fork and serve it over fluffy rice, in soft tacos, or atop a fresh salad.
  5. Optional: Garnish with chopped green onions for an added burst of freshness.
