  • 1/2 cup soy sauce can use low-sodium
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced) fresh cloves are best
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil or peanut oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger (grated) ground ginger can be used
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce adjust to spice preference
For the Pork
  • 4 pcs thin boneless pork chops ensure even cuts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or any neutral oil

Method
 

Directions
  1. Prepare Marinade: In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and sweet chili sauce until well combined. Reserve half of the marinade for later use.
  2. Marinate Chops: Coat the thin boneless pork chops generously with the marinade. Let them sit for 10 minutes to absorb all those vibrant flavors.
  3. Heat Skillet: In a large skillet, warm up olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  4. Cook Pork: Place the marinated pork chops into the skillet. Cook for about 6 minutes, or until browned. Flip the chops, pour reserved marinade over, and cook for an additional 6 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  5. Rest and Serve: Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve with steamed rice or sautéed vegetables.
