Preparation Steps
- Begin by heating a tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onions and bell peppers, cooking until they soften and the onions become translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until it’s browned and no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes. Stir occasionally for even cooking.
- Mix in the minced garlic and Worcestershire sauce, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Reduce heat to low and add the cream cheese to the meat mixture. Stir continuously until the cream cheese melts and blends well, about 2 minutes.
- Sprinkle the sharp cheddar cheese over the mixture. Cover the skillet with a lid for 2-3 minutes, allowing the cheese to melt completely.
- Spoon generous portions of the cheesy beef mixture onto the sandwich buns. Top with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color and fresh flavor.
