  • 1/2 cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce Tamari is a gluten-free option.
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar Honey or maple syrup can be used as alternatives.
  • 4 cups Chicken or Beef Stock Vegetable stock works for a vegetarian version.
For the Noodles
  • 3 packs Ramen Noodles Instant noodles can be replaced with rice noodles or omitted.
Optional Garnishes
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds Sprinkle on top before serving.
  • 2 scallions Extra Scallions For added flavor and decoration.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked and no longer pink. Drain excess grease.
  2. Transfer the cooked beef to the slow cooker. Add matchstick carrots, sliced bell pepper, and chopped scallions.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together minced garlic, low sodium soy sauce, brown sugar, and stock. Pour over the beef mixture.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, add dry ramen noodles to the slow cooker and cook until tender.
  6. Serve hot with optional sesame seeds and extra scallions.
