- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the lean ground beef with chopped onion and sliced celery over medium heat for about 10 minutes, until the beef is fully cooked.
- Drain any excess fat and season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the cooked beef mixture into a greased 3-quart baking dish and spread the creamy soup evenly over the beef mixture.
- Layer the frozen Tater Tots in a single layer on top of the creamy base.
- Bake uncovered for 40 minutes, or until bubbly and the Tater Tots are golden brown.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the hot dish and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
- Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley or chives before serving.
