Steps to Make Tacos
- Season the beef pot roast generously with salt, pepper, and either Italian or taco seasoning. Coat all sides well.
- Sear the beef in a large pot over medium heat, adding a splash of oil. Brown the meat on all sides for about 4-5 minutes.
- Sauté the diced onion and minced garlic in the same pot until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Combine the canned tomatoes and tomato paste into the pot, stirring well to blend all ingredients together.
- Cover the pot and reduce the heat to low, cooking the beef gently for around 6-8 hours, until fork-tender.
- Shred the cooked beef using two forks and combine it with the flavorful sauce in the pot.
- Serve your beef mixture in warm tortillas or crunchy taco shells, allowing family to add their favorite toppings.
