Method
 

How to Make Sopapilla Cheesecake
  1. Preheat your oven to the temperature indicated on the crescent roll package.
  2. Press one package of crescent rolls into the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  3. Combine cream cheese, 1 ½ cups sugar, and ½ tsp vanilla in a mixing bowl and beat until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crescent roll layer in the baking dish.
  5. Layer the second package of crescent rolls over the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Mix ½ cup sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon in a small bowl, then sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top layer.
  7. Dot the top with small cubes of diced butter.
  8. Bake according to the crescent roll package instructions, approximately 25-30 minutes.
  9. Let it cool before serving.
