  • 2 cups Fresh Spinach If using frozen, thaw and squeeze out excess moisture.
  • 1 cup Feta Cheese Can substitute with ricotta or goat cheese.
For the Egg Wash
  • 1 large Egg (beaten) Brush on just before baking.

Preparation
  1. Prepare the Spinach: Sauté fresh spinach in a pan for 2-3 minutes until wilted, then cool and squeeze out excess moisture.
  2. Roll the Puff Pastry: Thaw the puff pastry until pliable, then roll it out on a clean surface.
  3. Spread the Filling: Layer spinach and crumbled feta across the pastry, leaving a border.
  4. Cut and Twist: Slice pastry into 1-inch strips and twist each strip to form spirals.
  5. Apply Egg Wash: Brush the twists with beaten egg before baking.
  6. Bake: Place on parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 400°F for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
