Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place fresh mozzarella pearls into skull molds, ensuring they're snug for the best shape.
  2. Heat in the microwave for 20-30 seconds, until soft but not overly melted.
  3. Gently press the mozzarella into the molds using paper towels to soak up any excess liquid.
  4. Refrigerate the molds for about 10 minutes.
  5. Carefully remove the mozzarella skulls from the molds.
  6. In a bowl, combine your skull-shaped mozzarella and halved cherry tomatoes.
  7. Toss everything with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper.
  8. Transfer to a serving plate, lavishly garnish with fresh basil, and serve.
