How to Make Sticky Pigs in Blankets
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lightly flour your surface and roll out the puff pastry to about 1/8 inch thick. Cut into strips that are 1 inch wide and 4 inches long.
- Take a cocktail sausage and place it at one end of each pastry strip. Roll tightly, sealing the edge with egg wash.
- Brush the tops of each wrapped sausage with egg wash for a glossy finish.
- In a medium bowl, mix honey, barbecue sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, and paprika until smooth for the glaze.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until pastry is golden brown and puffed up.
- Remove from oven and brush glaze over the pigs in blankets. Return to oven for another 5 minutes.
- Let cool slightly before serving warm, optionally serve with additional barbecue sauce.
