- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare your loaf pan by lining a 9x5 inch pan with parchment paper.
- Sauté the onion and garlic in a small skillet until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Combine eggs, milk, breadcrumbs, cheese, and seasonings in a large bowl and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Mix the ground beef, ground pork, and cooled onion mixture gently in the bowl until just combined.
- Transfer the meat mixture to the prepared loaf pan, pressing it down to eliminate air pockets.
- Whisk together the glaze ingredients in a separate bowl until smooth.
- Spread one-third of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 45 minutes, then add another one-third of the glaze and continue baking for 25-30 minutes.
- Rest the meatloaf for 10 minutes before slicing.
