For the Sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic Fresh garlic provides robust flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Honey Can substitute with maple syrup or agave nectar.
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce Use low-sodium or tamari for gluten-free.
  • 2 tablespoons Vinegar Apple cider vinegar recommended.
For Cooking
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Essential for searing the pork chops.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes Optional, adjust for heat preference.
  • 1 sprig Fresh Rosemary Optional garnish.

Preparation
  1. Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and optional smoked paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Remove pork chops and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, lower the heat and sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Stir in honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and optional rosemary and red pepper flakes. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Return the pork chops to the skillet, coating them in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  7. Remove from heat and let the pork chops rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh rosemary.
