Making the Dip
- Boil the chicken breasts in a pot of water until they are fully cooked. This usually takes about 15-20 minutes. Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and set it aside.
- Combine in a mixing bowl the shredded chicken, cream cheese, ranch dressing, hot sauce, black pepper, garlic powder, and chopped green onion. Stir until everything is well incorporated and creamy.
- Fold in 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese and 1 cup of the cheddar cheese into the mixture. This will add a delightful cheesiness and richness to your dip.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, smoothing it out evenly. Top it off with the remaining mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, creating a gooey, cheesy layer for the bake.
- Bake at 350°F for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheeses are melted and bubbly with a slightly golden top. You’ll want it piping hot and irresistible!
